Antigua and Barbuda: Senior Post Office staff ordered back to work

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has ordered the Post Master General and senior management at the General Post Office (GPO) back to work in order to end “the disruptive action of staff.”

The Cabinet Note said: “The Cabinet ordered the Post Master General and senior management at the GPO to report for work immediately and to make stamps available to those who wish to mail Christmas cards, bills and other correspondence, and for purchase of passports.”

Staff at GPO refused to work at the High Street, St John’s location since there are several prevailing infrastructural issues.
